Wednesday Season 2
Wednesday features Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams who is a Witty and Gothic teenager from Addams Family. The story follows Wednesday Addams’ journey through Nevermore Academy, which is a school for supernatural beings. As Wednesday enters Nevermore, strange phenomena start to happen, and she becomes embroiled in solving murder mysteries along with finding out about her psychic powers. She also finds her true friend, despite being cold in nature, who helps her in this journey. As the suspenseful series ends with a mystery related to Wednesday Addams, which shows her a future of herself, this series was set to make its comeback. Now the new season will feature Lady Gaga, Christopher Lloyd, Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley, and Thandiwe Newton and is all set to be released in the second half of the year 2025.
Squid Game Season 3
Squid Game made its debut on Netflix in the year 2023, and this lethal competition game series featuring Lee Jung-Jae became a sensation among its fans, and everyone awaited its season 2. Squid Game season 2 is already screaming on Netflix, which was released at the end of 2024, in which Player 456 made a comeback to the game to expose them but found him stuck in the game again. He had no other options but to play the game with other opponents. Squid Game season 2 ends with a fight between two groups: those who want to leave the game and those who want to stay, and hence the mystery remains about the next plot of the game. Netflix has announced that the next season of Squid Game will be released in the year 2025 itself.
Stranger Things Season 5
This supernatural series is all set to be released in the year 2025. Stranger Things Season 5 release date is announced by Netflix to be released in 2025, as the production was already started in 2024. It involves a phenomenon of two different worlds that are said to be the upside down of our world. Strange things start to happen around a city named Hawkins located in Indiana. The story includes:
Stranger Things Season 1: The story begins when Will Byers strangely disappears in the year 1983 while going home, and his family and friends start his search. His friends Mike, Dustin, and Lucas find a strange girl on their way while searching for Will, whose name was Eleven, with some strange psychic powers. She lets them know about the other world’s existence and helps them bring WILL Byres back home.
Stranger Things Season 2: The next series begins in the year 1984 when Will Byers starts experiencing the presence of the Mind Flayer (a mind-controlling organism from the Upside Down universe). Mind flayer controls Will, keeping an eye on everything Will sees, Police Chief Jim Hopper also helps in breaking Will’s connection from Mind Flayer, and finally the season is over.
Stranger Things Season 3: Starting with the year 1985, the Mind Flayer starts controlling locals and uses them to create a monstrous body. Will, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven, along with their families and friends, start to fight against the facility, opening the door and the monsters. In the end of this season, the police chief loses his life while closing the gate, and Eleven loses her power. Byers moved to another city along with Eleven.
Stranger Things Season 4: In season 4, the biggest plot is revealed about Eleven’s past that had haunted her till now. A new being called Vecna showed up who was also part of the same experiments as Eleven. Eleven regains her powers and seals Vecna in the other universe, but just at the finish of Season 4, another door opens, which leaves great excitement for Season 5 of Stranger Things.
The Witcher Season 4
Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series, this Netflix series, this story follows the intertwined destinies of Geralt of Rivia, Princess Ciri, and Yennefer of Vengerberg. Journey to a world of monsters, magic, and political intrigue. The first season includes a meetup of Geralt and Siri after their adventure of monster hunting and escape. In the next season, where Ciri trains for her power while Geralt protects her and the third character, Yennefer, seeks to regain her powers. The next series follows political intensifying, where factions vie for control of Ciri, and Gerald and Yennefer work together towards protecting her. The series production was concluded in October 2024 and aimed to release in 2025.
You Season 5
You Season 5 is all set to be released in 2025 but like every other series, Netflix has not given any dates yet.
A psychological thriller series that focuses on Joe Goldberg, a man who is obsessed with persons he loves and goes to extreme measures in protecting them. In the first season he becomes possessive about Guinevere Beck, a writer, and starts stalking her. He gets rid of everyone he assumes is a threat in their relationship. Season ends with his truth being revealed to Beck. In the next season he changes his identity to Will Bettelheim, where he finds his love, who is as psycho as him, and in the next season they live their life together raising their son. But with another twist, their lives change once more, and Joe once again switches his identity as Jonathan Moore, living a new life in London. Season ends with Joe fully embracing his dark side.
